IDEA FOR FILM NAME: SNAP



TAGLINE:

'how long will it take you to lay your cards on the table!'





CHARACTERS:



Frank : Angry, Fustrated, Tired and Clean , Punctual,Organized - Dressed in shirt and tie,

Pablo : disorganized, happy,confident, chav - sports wear, trainers and gold or silver chain

Jackie: Wag,Bubbly, Outgoing,Fun - short skirt, handbag, sunglasses, heels



PICTH:

i wish i could be in your shoes their morals and life situations will make the question how far they will be willing to go to become someone else.



TREATMENT FOR 'SNAP' (MARIKA)



TREATMENT:

Film in 'pulp fiction' style and also inspired by 'All about the Benjamins' but based on a journey in which different characters bump into each other along the way hopefully on train journey

Pablo gets on train in a happy and bubly mood after winning a lottery ticket calls his family on the phone while his on the train to brag about it sayin that he's been struk by luck puts ipod in ears music then plays following his journey and its current events where he gets to cashier and his wallet is missing which had his very important lottery ticket he was going to cash in on and goes crazy and awal this is where our story begins



Frank punctual and organizational/clean/orderly worker but is annoyed and having a bad day and is frustrated at the world, tired of working for a low pay and wants some luck. He comes on shot when Pablo story is ova we show the beginning of his story on train where Pablo comes and sits next to him he gets annoyed but then over hears Pablo talking about his lottery ticket so Frank comes up with a plan to steal Pablo's wallet without him recognising then acts normal and puts his head phones in his music then becomes soundtrack



Jackie is Franks girlfriend and her story begins after frank leaves her in the morning she meets up with another man. later on that day frank comes back from work and fills her in on how he stole Pablo's lottery ticket and how they are gonna be rich. frank tells her to wait as he goes for a shower and that when jackie seizes the oppurtunity to text her lover and flees away from Frank with the lottery ticket.













Ideas for storyboard

1. establishing shot extreme close up and zoom of train panel then a slow zoom out to make shot clear then a tracking shot to character 1 where story begins

2. shot 1- if filmed on underground station- medium close up of characters face from nose to half of the neck

3. shot 2- character rubbing chin

4. shot 3 character checking time on his watch acting cocky and confident

5. shot 4 sorting out sleeves

6. shot 5 character stands up medium shot of his costume tilt shot to his shoes
